Hisense QLED TV sets potentially sold Lacking Sufficient QLED Technology

Shub Johns & Holbrook launches investigation into Hisense Group Co. (“Hisense”) regarding  the Company’s  advertising of its QLED television devices. We are investigating whether these TVs have QLED technology because consumers are paying a premium price for it.

Quantum dot light-emitting diode technology (more commonly known as QLED technology or QD) is a human made technology used to improve the range and breadth of the colors displaying on an LCD television screen.

QLED TVs however must have a sufficient quantity of these quantum dot diodes in order to be considered a QLED. If it doesn’t contain sufficient diodes, then it should not be labeled as a QLED TV and consumers are being subjected to false advertising. That is unlawful in California.
