Shub & Johns Attorney to be Interim Co-Lead Counsel in Consolidated NCB Management Data Breach Litigation

A Pennsylvania Court granted Plaintiffs’ Motion to Consolidate class action matters related to NCB Management after a data breach exposed patients’ private financial and identification information. Data Breach at NCB Management, Inc.

Around late March 2023, NCB Management, Inc. (NCB), a Pennsylvania-based business services company, began notifying individuals that their information was involved in a data breach that exposed personal identification information and financial information.

The company learned of the security breach on February 4, 2023 and immediately conducted an investigation. NCB determined that on February 1, 2023, an unauthorized party gained access to the company’s computer systems. Through further investigation, NCB discovered that 1,087,842 individuals’ information was affected.

Information including first and last names, Social Security numbers, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth, employment positions, pay amounts, driver’s license numbers, account numbers, credit card numbers, routing numbers, account balances, and account statuses may have been exposed.

NCB Management Consolidated Lawsuit

On April 6, 2023, Shub & Johns LLC filed a class action lawsuit against NCB Management for the potential impact that the data breach could have or has already had on affected individuals.

On June 5, 2023, the United States Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania granted the Plaintiffs’ motion to consolidate all matters against NCB related to the data security incident. Shub & Johns Partner, Benjamin F. Johns, has been appointed interim co-lead counsel on the case.

Plaintiffs’ Counsel plan to file an Consolidated Amended Complaint before July 20, 2023, and want to hear from these affected individuals who were affected by the data breach.
