Jeep Wrangles and Grand Cherokees Recalled Due to Fire Risk – Investigation

Shub Johns & Holbrook LLP launches an investigation into Jeep after many Jeep and Wrangler owners claim experiencing issues with the vehicle’s high voltage battery, potentially leading to a vehicle fire for some according to reports.

Jeep announced a recall for certain Jeep vehicles on or around November 4, 2025. The recall expands on a 2024 recall concerning some Wrangler and Grand Cherokee models that may experience internal failure with the battery pack. The November 2025 recall builds on the previous recall to add additional vehicles, alerting owners of the 2020 – 2025 Jeep Wrangler and those of the 2022 – 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee of the alleged defect.

Jeep Wrangler and Grand Cherokee models may exhibit separator damage within cells located in their vehicle’s high voltage battery pack. This issue can potentially lead to a vehicle fire, putting consumers and surrounding property in danger.

Owners of impacted vehicles had previously been instructed by Stellanis, the maker of Jeep vehicles, to park vehicles out of garages or away from any property or vulnerable structures or other vehicles due to the fire risk. This, however, is not a fix for consumers and can inconvenience those who might otherwise prefer to keep their vehicle parked in their garage for safety and security. The increased risk of a battery fire likewise puts drivers and passengers in danger, especially the longer it takes Stellanis to provide a remedy.

If you own a 2020 – 2025 Jeep Wrangler or a 2022 – 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee and have experienced issues with your vehicle’s high voltage battery pack, contact our firm to join the investigation today!
