Hisense TVs Experience Performance Issues due to Alleged Main Board Defect
Shub & Johns LLC launches an investigation into the Hisense USA Corporation (“Hisense”) after some consumers report performance issues with some Hisense TV models. Notably, an alleged defect with the main board equipped in Hisense 4K Android Smart TVs manufactured since 2019 may be the cause of these performance issues that can lead to crashes and delays with the television set.
Hisense TV Defect
Buyers and owners of the Hisense 4K TV may be noticing issues just months after purchasing their television set. Some consumers indicate that their Hisense TV is sluggish or is experiencing system crashes or delays. Many smart TVs these days rely on system software updates, but some consumers indicate that firmware updates to the TV have only made the issue worse.
These performance issues may be a result of an alleged main board defect with the 4K Hisense smart TVs manufactured since 2019. The defect can cause unresponsiveness, and loss of functionality when attempting to reset the television or download and use any of the TVs apps – which is what consumers rely on to watch TV programs, stream music, or basically any other function of the tv. This leaves many consumers with a TV that doesn’t work like it should, and these consumers likely don’t like having a TV they can’t use.
Hisense Manufacturing Concerns
Hisense has been marketing and selling these 4K Android Smart TVs since 2019, and if multiple consumers experiencing similar issues despite having different model years of the Hisense TV, then the company should have been aware of this issue much earlier or has potentially known about the issue but has continued to sell the device to everyday consumers.
This can mean that consumers have potentially been paying premium prices for television sets Hisense knowingly sold with a defect for approximately 5 years. Consumers who are now experiencing these issues may be left with the cost of repairing or replacing the allegedly defective TVs.
