Shub & Johns launches investigation into Ford after consumers experience issues with 2018-2021 models of the Ford F-150. Ford F-150 models with a 5-liter Coyote engine may be experiencing excessive engine oil consumption.

Owners and Lessees of 2018 – 2021 Ford F-150 models with the 5.0L engine may be needing to conduct oil maintenance on their vehicle more frequently than normal due to the F-150’s alleged tendency to consume oil at a fast rate. The defect leaves consumers with the burden of changing their engine’s oil more often, and can lead to increased carbon emissions and reduced fuel efficiency.

Drivers of these F-150 models have taken to online forums to voice their concerns. Some Ford dealerships have been made aware of the issue, but have indicated that the issue is normal or have placed fault on the owner/lessee.
