Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge vehicles potentially equipped with Defective Uconnect System

Drivers and Owners of impacted individuals have taken to online forums to voice their concerns with the vehicles’ potentially defective Uconnect infotainment systems.

Drivers of some 2021 or later Fiat Chrysler vehicles have shown concern with their vehicles infotainment systems. The Uconnect infotainment system equipped with the Fiat Chrysler vehicles have reportedly experienced issues with its screen freezing or shutting off. Consumers have also reported issues with the GPS navigation system, as well as with the vehicle’s back up camera.

The infotainment system equipped with newer model vehicles are meant to ease and assist in the driver’s experience. With these issues reported by consumers however, the Uconnect system can become distracting for drivers, either by diverting the driver’s attention to fix the issue or by leading an individual to stop completely to address the problem. These issues can also reduce access to safety features such as the back up camera.
