2024 Volkswagen GTI Drivers Report Hill Assist Failure

Drivers report that the hill assist feature in their 2024 Volkswagen GTIs causes their vehicles to stall. These reports indicate that when the vehicle is on a hill, the vehicle’s brakes are engaged due to the hill assist feature and do not disengage for two to three seconds, causing the vehicle to stall. Thus, the driver is unable to move forward when the hill assist engages.
