Shub Johns & Holbrook Welcomes Our 2026 Summer Interns

Shub Johns & Holbrook LLP is pleased to introduce our 2026 Summer Interns, Jennifer Phan and Shadel Brewster!

SJ&H takes pride in our summer internship program. We value the next generation of legal professionals and make efforts to provide these aspiring lawyers and law students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside our partners and staff on complex litigation and matters that have a meaningful impact on consumers nationwide.

Meet our Summer Interns Jennifer Phan and Shadel Brewster!

Jennifer Phan is a Research Assistant and Summer 2026 intern at Shub Johns & Holbrook LLP. In this role, she supports the firm’s attorneys with legal research and case analysis.

Jennifer is currently a second-year undergraduate student at Swarthmore College, pursuing a double major in Political Science and Peace and Conflict Studies on the pre-law track. Prior to joining SJ&H, she earned certificates in policy and law through programs at Harvard Kennedy School, Stanford Law School, Yale University, and Columbia University School of Social Work.

Jennifer also served as a Researcher at Yale University, where she applied both quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods to examine immigration policy perspectives. She is committed to leveraging her research background in pursuit of a meaningful legal career.

Shadel Brewster is a recent high school graduate entering her first year at Temple University undergraduate program this fall semester. Shadel joins Shub Johns & Holbrook for the summer as a summer intern, seeking to expand on her interests and career prospects.

Since she was in middle school, Shadel knew she wanted to enter into the legal field, whether it was becoming an attorney, a private investigator, or legal administrator. Despite her young age, SJ&H admires Shadel’s brightness and work ethic.

Although she only interned with the firm for a short time, Shadel indicates that this experience already has provided her with valuable insight into the legal profession and the day-to-day operations of a law office. She is very excited to gain hands-on experience and expand her legal education. Shub Johns & Holbrook is excited to have her on the team and eager to watch her career take off.

Throughout the summer, our interns will contribute to legal research, case development, and litigation support while learning firsthand about the collaborative, client-focused approach that defines our firm.

We are thrilled to have Jennifer and Shadel join our team and look forward to the fresh perspectives, enthusiasm, and the dedication they will bring to the firm.
