2025 Acura MDX drivers have reported that their vehicle fails to restart when the auto stop/start function is enabled. Reports indicate that when the vehicle auto stops, not only will it not automatically restart when the driver releases their foot off the break, but the vehicle becomes completely inoperable. Drivers have also reported the same inoperability when they shut down the engine manually and attempt to restart the engine soon after.
