Investigation – Illegal Anticompetitive Practices in US Industries

In the European Union, investigators suspect that certain ski equipment manufacturers may have violated EU competition laws by forming cartels or engaging in restrictive agreements prohibited under Article 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU). SJH is now investigating whether American companies in similar sectors may be engaging in comparable anticompetitive conduct. Under U.S. law, including the Sherman Antitrust Act, businesses are prohibited from monopolizing markets or entering agreements that unlawfully restrain trade.
