SHUB LAW FILES CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST T-MOBILE USA OVER DATA BREACHES

On August 24, 2021, Shub Law filed a class action lawsuit against T-Mobile USA. The suit arises out of the recent cyberattack and data breach that was perpetuated against the national telecommunications company. As a result of the breach, customers were subject to unauthorized access and exfiltration of highly sensitive personal information. The case was filed in Washington and is styled as Villalon v. T-Mobile USA, Inc., No. 2:21-cv-01148.

The complaint alleges that T-Mobile maintained consumers’ private information in a reckless manner by storing sensitive data on a computer system the company had reason to believe was vulnerable to cyberattacks. Due to the attack, Class Members’ identities are now at considerable risk because their private information is in the hands of data thieves. Affected parties must now guard against a heightened possibility of present or imminent fraud, and must closely monitor their financial accounts and information to guard against serious issues like identity theft. Millions of customers had their private information stolen in this breach.

If you are or were a customer of T-Mobile and you received a text message from the company about the data breach, please contact us for a free consultation at info@shublawyers.com or give us a call at 856-772-7200.
