STOLEN DATA FROM BIG BASKET DATABASE
The recent cyberattack occurred on October 14th and allegedly wasn’t detected until October 30th. In this cyberattack, full names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, and other information were stolen. Once stolen, records of this information were put for sale on the dark web for more than $40,000.
Big Basket reported the crime to cyber police, but didn’t comment on the full extent of the attack due to the ongoing investigation.
