Shub Law expands its team of class action litigators as it welcomes rising star, Samantha E. Holbrook. Ms. Holbrook, Shub Law’s latest Partner, officially announced her switch on Monday, January 23, 2023, after leaving Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith LLP where she most recently worked as an associate attorney. Ms. Holbrook joins the firm just months after Benjamin F. Johns, a former colleague at Chimicles Schwartz, began working with Shub Law in late 2022.
Samantha Holbrook recently expressed her excitement about the new position at Shub Law to Law360 Pulse, enthusiastic about this next step in her career. “I think that there’s a lot of opportunity in this firm, and I’m very excited about what we’re going to be able to do together.” Ms. Holbrook relayed to Law360 on Tuesday.
The team of class action litigators at Shub Law are just as excited to have brought Ms. Holbrook on. Her former colleague at Chimicles Shwartz, Benjamin F. Johns, was certain Holbrook would be a great fit, as Holbrook has a great track record when it comes to fighting for the little guy. Firm Founder, Jonathan Shub, believes she will do a lot of great work on this team.
Holbrook’s consumer class action practice focuses on deceptive practices, data breaches and product defects. Holbrook has notably been involved as lead counsel in a class action lawsuit alleging that Nissan Altima headlights became dimmer over time, as well as a class action case against Wawa over a data breach, both resulting in a significant multi-million dollar settlement.
Holbrook looks forward to continuing her fight for the little guy. Shub Law brings about the opportunity to make a big impact by taking on more cases against large corporations on behalf of aggrieved consumers.
