Shub Law Firm LLC is pleased to announce that Kevin Laukaitis has been appointed as a member of the Executive Committee in the class action lawsuit, in Re: Seresto Flea and Tick Collar Marketing, Sales Practices and Products Liability Litigation 1:2021-cv-04447, filed in the United States Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division.

Shub Law filed this class action case on May 12, 2021, after the Environmental Protection Agency received nearly 1,7000 reported pet deaths due to the harmful pesticides that Bayer Corporation and Elanco Animal Health uses in their Seresto Flea and Tick Pet Collars. The pesticides used in the collars were found not only to be very harmful to humans, but also their pets that wear the collars to prevent fleas and ticks. 

The case was reassigned as a Multi District Litigation (MDL) where Laukaitis was appointed to the leadership team of attorneys that moved the litigation forward.
