TIK TOK DATA SECURITY ISSUES

TikTok is a China-owned app, which brings to light an increasing concern about data security issues. Companies that operate in China must comply with laws that require them to share data with the government.

TikTok has more than 100 million monthly active users in the United States and has faced growing scrutiny from state and federal officials over fears that American data could fall into the possession of the Chinese government. More than half of the U.S. states have taken steps toward either a partial or full ban of TikTok on government devices.

Shub Law is investigating whether TikTok may have violated certain state statutes that prohibit the sharing of data with third parties in certain circumstances.

If you believe your data may potentially have been compromised recently, and you actively use TikTok, fill out the form below to participate in Shub Law’s investigation.
