Shub & Johns launches investigation into the Honda Motor Company after recent consumer reports indicate that there may be issues with Ridgeline and Pilot models transmissions. 2016-2022 Honda Pilot models and 2020-2022 Honda Ridgeline models may have been potentially equipped with defective transmissions that can put drivers and others on the road at risk.

Drivers and owners of some Honda vehicles have taken to online forums to voice their concerns with their vehicle’s transmission. Many of these consumer complaints have similarly pointed out issues with recent Ridgeline and Pilot models. These issues with the transmission include:

  • Rough and delayed shifting
  • Loud noises during shifting
  • Harsh engagement of gears
  • Sudden harsh accelerations and decelerations
  • Sudden loss of power/lack of acceleration

Whether on residential roads or high-traffic highways, these features can be important and pertinent for road safety. Owners or lessees of the 2020-2022 Honda Ridgeline or the 2016-2022 Honda Pilot may be entitled to compensation.
