Shub & Johns LLC launches investigation into GMC after the 2023 Yukon models have been reported to experience issues on the road. Drivers and owners of the new GMC Yukon have indicated that the vehicle’s powertrain system has experienced malfunctions, namely with the vehicle’s engine and transmission, causing the Yukon to shut down, risking drivers on the road.

Drivers of the 2023 GMC Yukon have taken to online forums to voice their concerns with the powertrain of the vehicle, claiming that engine would stall and the transmission would attempt to automatically shift from one gear to another, as well as shutting down the vehicle without warning. Vehicles experiencing issues such as these in high traffic areas or highways can cause trouble for both the passengers within the vehicle, but drivers and passengers in other vehicles as well.

Dealerships and mechanics have become aware of this issue as the malfunction has become more prevalent in GMC Yukons, but at this time there is no recall or remedy for the issue. If this malfunction persists however, it can pose serious risks on the road.
