Shub & Johns LLC has opened an investigation into GMC after consumers reported electrical issues with the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. Drivers and owners of the vehicle have complained that the radio has unexpectedly turned on and blasted sound at loud volumes. This along with other issues have garnered concern for drivers on the road.

Owners of the 2022 GMC Sierra have taken to online forums to voice their concerns regarding the vehicles increasing electrical issues. Some owners have reported that their vehicle’s dashboard and console has experienced glitching, claimed that the Bluetooth will not connect properly, and some have even complained that some of their safety features like parking assist and other warnings do not work properly. Electrical software in vehicles is meant to improve a driver’s experience on the road but with these electrical issues related to the GMC Sierra, the malfunctioning electrical system may be causing more safety issues than relief.

One big issue that many drivers bring up about the GMC Sierra 1500 is the radio. Some consumers claim that, without warning, the radio will turn on and start blasting sound at high volume. For some drivers and passengers, this issue with the radio cannot be remedied by just turning off the radio or turning down the volume.
