CoolSculpting is the brand name for a fat-freezing method that aims to get rid of stubborn fat in certain parts of your body. It has become a common fix for unwanted fat among consumers. Beware: the side effects of using the device are not only dangerous, but have become more and more common.

Consumers report developing paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (P.A.H.), a complication of CoolSculpting. It gets its name from the unexpected, paradoxical result: overgrowth of fatty tissue. This complication can appear 8-24 weeks post-procedure results in the treated area becoming hardened and visibly enlarged.
