Shub Law is investigating a potential class action lawsuit on behalf of consumers who have purchased certain LG refrigerator models that came equipped with a reportedly defective “Craft Ice” component. LG markets this as a feature whereby round, cubed or crushed ice can be easily created and then stored in a separate bucket located in the freezer. LG claims that it “automatically makes batches of three or six slow-melting Craft Ice per day. “According to reports, however, this feature often fails soon after purchase and oftentimes does not produce any additional ice. This alleged defect may affect LG refrigerator model LFXS26596S, among others.
