JONATHAN SHUB APPOINTED AS INTERIM MEMBER OF PLAINTIFF’S EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE IN CONTAMINATED BABY FOODS CASE

Shub Law Firm LLC is pleased to announce that Jonathan Shub has been appointed as an Interim Member of Plaintiff’s Executive Committee (“PEC”) in the class action lawsuit, Smid v. Campbell’s Soup Company, et al

Shub Law filed this class action case on February 11, 2021, alleging that certain kinds of Campbell’s Soup baby foods (sold under its subsidiary, Plum, PBC) contain toxic heavy metals such as led, arsenic, and mercury. Exposure to such heavy metals causes permanent decreases in IQ, diminished future economic productivity, and increased risk of future criminal and antisocial behavior in children.

As a member of PEC, Jon will be tasked with assisting with managing the litigation on behalf of Plaintiffs.
