Shub Law Firm was highlighted as one of three law firms working together to represent four Pittsburgh-area restaurants and a dental practice against Motorists, Nautilus, and CNA insurance companies. The complaint alleges that plaintiffs suffered coronavirus-closure-related losses but were denied coverage by their respective insurance companies.
The article also notes, “In all the complaints, the plaintiffs cited Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf’s March 19 order closing all nonessential businesses in order to slow the person-to-person transmission of the highly contagious coronavirus, and they sought declaratory judgments that their insurers were obligated to cover their losses and expenses due to the pandemic and the shutdowns.”
