David’s Bridal, a famous wedding and bridesmaid dress manufacturer based out of Pennsylvania, reportedly experienced a data breach as a result of a ransomware virus attack executed by a ransomware group. Though the data security breach was discovered in late January 2024, it does not seem as though the Company has notified impacted individuals through July 2024 – although, it is expected that David’s Bridal will begin notifying impacted consumers of the data breach in Early August 2024. Consumer information exposed in the breach may vary but can include demographic information, contact information, and potentially financial or other sensitive information.

The cybercriminals responsible for the breach may have already obtained and sold the compromised consumer information.
