Chevrolet Silverado may Lose Power and Sound
Shub & Johns launches investigation into General Motors after consumers report that their 2023 Chevrolet Silverado is experiencing sound loss and power issues. Drivers and owners of the vehicle have taken to online forums to voice their concerns with the alleged vehicle malfunctions.
The 2023 Chevrolet Silverado is reportedly experiencing issues with its sound systems, reducing the sound of the radio during a drive and not being able to raise the volume up again manually. All of sudden, the radio’s volume can go full blast, according to some consumers, which can be really jarring for the driver and passengers and can even lead to dangerous situations or even injuries on the road.
The sound issue may extend beyond the radio, also impacting other sounds that drivers may find useful, such as warning sounds, turn signals, or navigation sounds. With these functions lost, drivers may be at a heightened risk of danger. According to dealerships, this issue is simply fixed by a software issue, but that remedy may not solve the problem for some drivers.
Apart from the sound issue, drivers and owners of the 2023 Chevy Silverado have also experienced vehicle shutdowns. According to some consumer reports, the vehicle may shut down at random times – either while idle or while on the road. Drivers have reported losing all electrical power with the vehicle which may impact some safety features with the vehicle. With the vehicle losing electrical power, they may also be at an increased risk of injury should the loss of power occur on the road.
