2023 Ford F-150s Experience Air Conditioning & Infotainment System Issues
Shub & Johns launches an investigation into Ford after consumers and owners of the 2023 Ford F-150 make complaints about system issues with the vehicle. Consumers take to online forums to voice their concerns with the air conditioning function and infotainment screen, describing potential defects.
Consumers experiencing air conditioning problems have indicated that the a/c unit stopped blowing air out of the vents. Adjustments to the system or fans or temperature may not fix the issue. Despite reports that the air continues to circulate within the system, air would not blow out the vents or defrost the vehicle.
Other drivers report issues with the infotainment system, notably with the dashboard screen. Consumers have indicated that the upon start up of the vehicle, the dashboard screen may not display any information even upon restarting the infotainment system. Others have indicated that the screen for the dashboard may be on but completely blacked out or with a very faint light.
These concerns may provide serious distractions and other safety risks for the consumers. Without an active dashboard screen, drivers may not be aware of certain safety issues with their vehicle. The A/C issue may also cause concern for drivers and passengers for the comfort of the cabin throughout the lifetime of the vehicle. Consumers pay thousands of dollars for these vehicles and anticipate for the vehicle to include high quality components rather than potential manufacturing defects.
